A portrait of Swedish pop singer Ängie . I don't often listen to pop music, but when you have the sultry voice of Ängie singing lyrics about anxiety, beauty, depression, addiction, nihilism and decadence, you can't help but be hooked! Add to it her sense of aesthetics that go into her vibrant music videos and you're surely a fan. I started drawing this digitally with the aim of making it as detailed as possible in my own style. Drawing her tattoos was a new experience and had me looking at tons of pictures to get all the details right. The lyrics you see in the artwork are from her song called IDGAF. Call it life imitating art (or the other way), but I found myself going through a very nihilistic phase while losing my mind into the details of this artwork. Now that the artwork is complete, I'm glad that I pushed myself beyond my comfort zone and thankful for those who keep inspiring me to give it my best and believe in myself.
