Often in deep space under undefined jurisdictions, between oficial trade routes, far from the standard patrol courses of the main empires -although not entirely free from sporadic checks; many Rogue factions create and sustain those huge Hubs, where small and big trades take place, travelers stop to refuel, service their ships and sometimes may find a suitable place for small distractions on the many services those space mini-metropolis provide. In time these Space Hubs have become a sustantial complement to regular interstellar trade.

Btw, I found out that some browsers make some color adjustments on some images, wich in the case of this one it was made quite apparent for me, since they make the dark areas even darker. Chrome and Opera seem to do that thing in the same way, but Firefox seems to portray the colors correctly. Image viewers in Windows also do the same, at least the ones I tried. I don't know why that happens, if it's a "feature" of the software or not. I can't think of a reason why would they implement something like that.
