  • While there are eternal truths such as gravity exists but why? (theory/model/faith) yet life is a series of half-truths that create an understanding or an illusion of preference  for each of us when added up making what some call that faith theory or modeling.

  • My personal opinion is that I am HALF right, and you are HALF wrong.

  •  perhaps we are all conservatives yet we take the things that are offbeat and outcast at times and propose a better life that is more inclusive of the individuals in a society that is the liberal way

Jonatan Rowson is the Director and Co-Founder of Perspectiva, a new research institute seeking to integrate understanding of objective, experiential, and cultural elements of complex problems. A former British chess champion, and former Director of the Social Brain Centre at The RSA in London, he is the author of four books, including most recently The Seven Dimensions of Climate Change – Rethinking The World’s Toughest Problem (Palgrave Macmillan, forthcoming). He received his doctorate in Social Sciences and Law from the University of Bristol, where his thesis examined the concept of wisdom. He has a First class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and an Ed.M in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard.

He is currently a research fellow at the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity at the University of Surrey.During his OSF fellowship, he is researching a book, provisionally titled Applied Philosophy in the Battle for Open Societies, that will situate human rights in a richer understanding of human nature and human experience. Human rights language, he says, can seem oblique or ineffectual, because it often fails to convey how imbalances of power are subjectively experienced and how those experiences are culturally reinforced. He also argues that owing to a wider “loss of collective identification with the common good,” rights have ceased to be tacitly universal and are now associated with legal claims by “others.” The project will develop and disseminate a way of thinking and talking about the world that guides action more effectively, grounded in an understanding of the complex interplay of natural, psychological and social systems

  • In my opinion, I am HALF right, and you are HALF wrong. Let's part ways. Each of us is taking our HALF LIFE in peace.
