A legend tells that the Sun and the Moon, were two simple mortals who had fallen in love, this love had no condition, it was a pure essence of the true and wonderful feeling of love between a man and a woman.
Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love, feeling jealous that a couple of mortals could feel such great love, decided to show that this love was not so strong and ordered to separate them forever. And so, he ordered the man to go out alone by day and the woman by night, in this way they would never meet and that love would end.

However, such love never ended. Zeus, seeing that his love survived time and distance, intervened so that the Sun could, at least, touch the face of his beloved again. This is the case in the days of the eclipse, when the two lovers return to merge into one body, even for a brief moment.

Today, Sun and Moon live waiting for that moment, those rare moments that were granted and that are so difficult to achieve. He, alone but strong and with the hope that another day will come to see on the horizon of his beloved's face; She, accompanied by stars, but sad for her beloved sun.

When you look at the sky, from now on, and you see that the Sun covers the Moon, It's because he lies down on her and they start to love each other. It is to that act of love that it was given the name of eclipse.
