A piece done for a fundraiser for someone at work.  The client did not actually get back to me with what they wanted aside from wanting pyrography art, in which they liked my previous wolf one, so I tried this.  This is actually the first full piece I've done with my new pyrography setup, and probably the 6-7th I've ever done, and it shows.  I like how it came out for the most part, but the concept didn't flow out as well as I had seen it in my head, and it caused a lot of frustration, but it still came out okay. That and I've never done any background with true depth like a forest, and I did so in a new technique so it got me good hahah I also wanted to do the shading and lighting properly, but I was seriously afraid of ruining it, so for the most part shading is non existent. ;-; Definitely gave me some practice in technique (and patience).  Hopefully they like it; if not I will give them the option of choosing a different piece since I never got formal confirmation on what they wanted.  If that's the case, I will be putting this up for sale. But hopefully they like it!

The scanner killed the color, and getting a picture of it without a ton of glare from burning was a challenge, but here is what its colors are in person: pre10.deviantart.net/e18f/th/p…
