Before I list the description, I just want to thank all of you guys here on DA, and hope 2019 is going well for you. I cant thank you guys enough, seriously! 
The French Nieuport 17 C.1, the vastly improved Nieuport 11/16 that
IT took its first flight January of 1916. Firing its vickers gun directly through the propeller arc and sporting great mobility, It quickly became popular with most air forces of the day. Since the bottom wing was smaller than the top wing some folks called it a "one and a half" plane. This offered a lot of advantages though, and with the oil and fuel tanks positioned to the front it was able to climb altitude faster than other models of the time.(fun random fact, many aces from WW1 just happened to be flying this plane) When I say this thing was popular I mean it, the Italians, Russians, and more had their own variants, and was even sold in small numbers to countries in South America. Of course popular with the other side as well, its speculated that it inspired the improvements for the albatros D.II to create the Albatros D.III. The plane was far from perfect, but it definently laid the grounds for even better models to be designed. 
I'm thinking of promoting my work on some video game forums like WOT, what do you guys think?
