: “RNA controls DNA in the human cell nucleus: A seminar in memory of Prof. John Hearst”
Many enzymes and transcription factors (TFs) that act on DNA/chromatin also bind RNA. The RNA is thought to be regulatory, but detailed mechanisms are lacking. I will describe our research on PRC2, DNMT1, and TFs, including a new cryo-EM structure.
