I was hanging out in what 1966? somewhere there in years

maybe i was ten like a other song suggests of hers

or nine even

could be 65

i am sitting at the table in the kitchen rocking out to the music machine

with brother RONALD K MEEK

i was drawing my usual musical art piece i abstracted music in to visuals v ia drawing

and in the doorway to the front room stood a lady

she said hi don i am Aretha i am rons FRIEND. then she asked me Do you know me?

i said i know you now!

it might have been her music playing on the stereo that i was abstracting very likely

i dont recall exactly that

she entered the kitchen around the back of me to the left rear of me

she did as the song suggests put her hand on my shoulder and i didnt mind at all i thought what a loving human she is

i was comforted by her touch and she even slightly huged me one handed

and told me she loved my drawing and i told her more about what i am doing abrstracting that music

thats about all i recall but i seem to think while she didnt ask for it she marveled over it enough that i think i might have gave it to her

not sure

seems to be a part of my memory

its a bit faint that part

it seems so i am going with that

she has my art somewhere like george does

me being young it was i can say all very innocent for me
