Each lesson learned circles into place, but they do not outpace the surrounding plague enveloping me. 

The thorns and ugliness rip at my flesh, pulling me down to the darkest depths I've ever been. Alone and beaten...I reach out for help.

Nothing.

Every plea for help goes unanswered.

Until someone does see me.

They see the real me - not the bruised, fractured shell I have become, but the person I am meant to be.

The last lesson locks into place, and my center ignites the beauty and compassion inside me.

It's an explosion of love and wisdom.
