This is my entry for the 'Talking About Time' contest held by  


Idiom:
DANCING OUT OF TIME - Go to out of step (with someone or something).

I took the meaning of the idiom very literally for making my artwork, so the model is really 'stepping out of time/ the clock' and is not out of step (like not dancing on the rhythm).
It represents a dream of a young girl, who is a dancer and is not afraid to show her talents in her dream.

This artwork took me a very long time, because the theme I've chosen is really out of my comfort zone. I mostly make fantasy and dark artworks, but this time, I wanted to do something more conceptual.
I was inspired by Salvador Dali (see the clocks in the background) - hence the dream (it is no reality).

I don't really know what to expect and what other deviants will think about this work, as this is the first time I did something like this
