“I remember you falling into my river..”

I've been working on this on and off for a few days, really pushed through the last night to complete it! It's been a long time since I spent a good amount of time making something for myself that's soft or happy. I was really happy during the process of this, and the result is very rewarding<3

Spirited Away is my first and favourite Ghibli movie. It has a very special place in my heart<3
Poppies start blooming around May if the weather is nice. They were a self-indulgent touch that is between the lines of making this piece closer to home (I am unfamiliar with flower meanings so if there's some kind of metaphor that could fit, it wasn't intended). I love when spring comes in because it means summer is closer and it's my favourite season~ I didn't get to see many up close -so far-, but I look forward to! Cicada symphonies <33

The only thing I improvised because I didn't do proper research was the laces in the shoes. I focused more on creating a peaceful spring-summer meridian vibe with the protagonist than being accurate on what the character was wearing back when the incident happened.


I have the day off today so I might as well take advantage of that and rest. See how many things I can finish until Friday.
