This is my entry for Memnalar's Flash Forward Fiction Contest 3019. My prompt was "Mourning the Dead."

It got me thinking. What if there's no mourning period? What if when we die, we just come back? And then I thought of how that would work. Can't have everybody just poppin' back in. So I thought, what if the entire currency of the world in the future was based on how good of a person you were. The better you are, the more Karma credits you receive, the better life you can have and/or give yourself when you die. Anywho, so I thought up this whole system in my head (taking into account waaaaay more than is even mentioned in this story) and wrote up this humorous little scenario. I hope you enjoy!
