It has been a while since my last post, but I have little time nowadays and the little I have, I have been playing around with 3D elements, which I have been doing for a few months now. Its taking me a while to learn the new software, but here is the first image I made where I incorporate 3D elements into my 2D images. I took a course from Learnsquared (with Ash Thorp) and applied the things learned to make the 3D assets for this image. The course is not on 3D, but on UI and Data Design, but the things from the course can be applied to making anything 3D really. I created elements to be used in the displacement maps of materials in Illustrator, and then did the elements in Cinema 4D and use Octane Render to create the final image. Photoshop was used to put together everything and give it the ambience I am using in all my Project S06 images. I have put some more images (displacement map and cinema 4D render) in my artstation gallery.
