DEV>Day 17: How To Bury Your Mother

NaPoWriMo, day 17.

This is a very much non-literal piece. Originally it started out as a poem about ending a friendship ("how to bury an old friend") but I realised about two stanzas in that I was actually talking about my mother, and the way I've had to temporarily walk away for my own sanity.

More Love For Favorites IIII do my best to comment on all the lit I add to my favs, but I do not always succeed. Sometimes, I can't find the words, and sometimes, I'm just being lazy. But even when I do comment, I often feel like I need to do more. I try to suggest things for DD, but I have this bad habit of wanting to suggest things that were written by people who have gotten a DD in the past 6 months. And even when I do suggest, there is no guarantee it will be featured. That is where this feature comes in: Part poetry, part visual art, all favorites.
