Oil on 16x20 Canvas. 

This piece came to me one sunny day and I knew I wanted to paint it. Sacra Anima, both Latin words, essentially means "Sacred Spirit", "Holy Life", "Divine Feminine." There is something so beautiful in this idea of the restoration of a defiled and holy energy. The shattering woman acts as this sacred light, her body broken and her eyes concealed. The force of life plays the tree and brings it's bloom to her core through her own broken form. The sanctity of the woman upheld as the wind begins to blow that which leaves her in darkness. Blessed women of the world, I bow to you.
