Souma-sama represent the amulet of health. His characteristics are food lover and he also love cooking. Souma-sama also have the skill of healing people buy his food and drink. In this scene, Kiyoshi-San came to visit Souma-sama’s kitchen, the spirit have to stand outside because Souma-sama does not allow them to play in the kitchen area. 
The Otopus cook are Douma-sama cooking team, they are making bento boxes. While designing Souma’s character back in 2017, I research about Japanese bento box culture and was inspired by the Japanese octopus sausage so I turned them into an actual character.
I was inspired by a Japanese movie called Tale of A Samurai Cooking. This movie showed me the historical view of Japanese cook and their food.
