… finally! This one has nearly broke me down. It was so difficult to work on all details! Remake of my old famous piece “Seven Wonders” that has received a couple of awards and attention (honestly? From my perspective, I think the old one was very poorly made piece… though it had a great energy) … and right at the end of this year, it’s making 10 year anniversary! Now you can compare - 10 years of difference. Though, working on this one was giving me a terrible, terrible headache. Remaking old artwork is really interesting process, because it puts you on the pressure to do better what was done in the past - it helps you to look at your progress. I recommend making "remakes" of your old work. Sleeping Tiger is filled with mesmerising energy. Peacefulness, symbolizing happiness and very moment of every day. That we all should feel more relaxed and grateful every day. The power of light. I have a big respect to “Seven Wonders” symbolism: the respect for nature and what is surrounding us. The original is filled with pearlescent effect on the branch. So shiny! I am offering original artwork for sale. Hi there again, I am trying to prepare a portfolio for MTG! I had this idea about a lonely girl trying to protect herself from seven demons (sins? insecurities? you name them) by using a magical artifact, hence the name: veil of protection. I would like to think of it as a red instant card providing hexproof from black (similar to Veil of Summer maybe?), set in the Throne of Eldraine, so I could use some royal motifs I am really happy that artists nowadays are creating great reference materials, as the cloth design was based on Howard Lyon's Patreon materials, facial expressions pack by Rachel and Noah Bradley was a great help as well, thank you! <3 View the full article
