Silveren is a mouse-ballerina from fairy-tale mice kingdom of White Winter. Before New Year she delights everyone in the castle with her graceful dance praising fragile, beautiful, transparent, subtle and unique snowflakes with her movements and her dress. This is a grouping of some of my miniature animal sculptures created from cured polymer clay (BeeSputty) and applied natural alpaca & wool fiber. This is close to the shot I wanted to get of the Milky Way over Mt Hood. Sadly by the time it was truly visible after the sun dipped below the horizon, it had shifted too far west. Although this area isnt truly designated as a dark sky area (due to proximity to Portland) I could still clearly see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Amazing! View the full article
