    Mt Buffalo National Park, Australia. 7/02/2016

    Spent a night out at my favorite place to sit and watch the world go by last weekend. I wanted to catch all the unaided eye planets and the rising central bulge of the Milky Way in the one panorama. With a crescent Moon rising on the horizon and slightly lighting up the landscape I had to work fast before the sky got too bright from the approaching dawn.

    There are six planets in this image. Can you spot them all?

    20 image panorama. Canon 6D, 24mm, F/2, ISO 6400, 15 second exposures.

    Wallpaper – Painted in Photoshop, I used some textures from NASA to get a interesting and dynamic star-field as well as CGI techniques to make the design look more fantastical. I looked at a lot of pictures of the oceans and coral reefs, because I found the colour palette really fun to work with.

    Oh you can download this as a wallpaper too (2560x1440)

    I'm going to be uploading some more work, paintings, concept art and some sketches too.

    Inspired by some Post-Apo stuff and My time spend in Wieliczka Salt Mine I've come with idea of making it an survival place after World Atomic War I. It's an "Regis" Shaft in post-apo version.
    Did You've been in Wieliczka Salt Mine before ? If not, I recommend You to visit this place, its gorgeous and inspiring !
