"Congratulations.
You are still alive.
Most people are so ungrateful to be alive.
But not you. Not anymore."
I absolutely love the "Saw" movies!
Kanon came up with the idea to make a real-size Billy the Puppet cosplay, so here we are!
He made by himself the bike, and it was really fun to walk in the city of Lucca (where the convention took place) and see the surprised peole! XD

på toget i den forkerte sted.
I cried the first time I ever wrote anything.
I'm still not sure it ever really happened at all.
Inspiration: *intricately-ordinary'sBefore I Can Become a WriterDevelop insomnia. Develop
problems with substance abuse,
nothing serious, but enough
that I can say “write drunk,
edit sober” and mean it.
Drink tea. Write about drinking
tea. Take up smoking, ignore
the thoughts about it being
a slower suicide. Write about
suicide. Don’t mean it.
Write about sunsets and
ink veins. Mean it.
Fall in love with someone
who will never love me back.
Lament. Write a million
crappy poems and two good
ones. Never show him.
Move on. Write a few more
bad poems. Fall in love with
someone perfect. Screw it up.
Fall in love with someone awful.
Call him perfect. Screw it up.
Cry. Cry for the inevitable,
the way my family never
loved me right, the way my
first kiss was regrettable
at best, the way my therapist
says my depression is a demon
taking over me. Cry for the
changeable, the way
I hate my body and my writing
and everything I live to be.
Use clichés. Live clichés,
breathe clichés, be
a cliché. Write a poem
about ho
and all of these; every person has a story, every story told here captures another aspect of being alive. I've read them all, no two are the same, but I find something to relate to in each. No matter what you're looking for - be it satire, truth, honesty, emotion, peace, raw beauty, or better writing than my own - you will find it all here. Share people's joys and hardships, loves and losses, curiosities and failures, births & rebirths & and rebirths still. The human condition: no one is alone. I love you all.

How about we start off the roll with some Queen Amidalla Star Wars cosplay from Dragon Con this year?
Here we have the awesome T H A M (Sam with a speech impediment) in her custom made Amidala dress. I was able to secure a good location for it very specifically.
Softened up the room with light bouncing off the ceiling from the room behind me.. had some lights outside and warmed the place up with some gels.
Been wanting to do an "elegant" shoot for a while..

For ^Beccalicious and the The Ancient Egyptian Deity Challenge. It came out at a total of 2204 words (what a relief not to have to worry about the FFM word limit anymore). This was my second go at the challenge, and my deity this time round was Geb, an Egyptian Earth God.
Wanted to go with a clever title that referred the the story and the Egyptian aspects and everything else all at once. But I'll be damned if I can think of one. If any of you come up with something, let me know.
Really didn't want to go with the whole American Gods-esque theme this time around, so here, have an EGYPTIAN GODS IN BIKER GANG RIVALRY STORY. Cause apparently that works somehow. Masses of potential inspiration here. This story is riddled with references, see if you can spot them all.
Mainly focused the story around the tragic, obsessive love affair between Geb and his sister Nut (the night sky), and his eventual attempt to overthrow Shu and become pharaoh (with tragic results). Tried being faithful to the original mythological events, then decided it was too much trouble and turned Ra into more of a central antagonist figure, making Shu the benevolent father/friend, and the uprising more an act of righteousness than bitter vengeance. Go accuracy!"In Ancient Egypt Geb (also known as Seb, Keb, Kebb or Gebb) was a god of the earth and one of the Ennead (meaning a collection of nine things), which was a group of nine deities in Egyptian mythology. The Ennead consisted of the god Atum (a Ra like figure), his children Shu (air, associated with purity and truth, or Ma'at) and Tefnut (moisture), their children Geb (Earth) and Nut (The Night Sky, later a more general sky goddess) and their children Osiris, Isis, Set and Nephthys. (The rivalry between Osiris and Set and Osiris' eventual murder was a tempting story in and of itself.) Geb was the third divine pharaoh, reigning after his father, Shu, and before Osiris.
He had authority over the tombs buried in the earth, and assisted in the ritual of weighing the heart of the deceased in the Halls of Ma´at. The justified dead were given words of power which allowed them to ascend to the sky, while those whose hearts were weighed down with guilt were trapped in the earth by Geb. He contained the dead or set them free from their tombs, metaphorically described as "Geb opening his jaws”. Imprisoning those there not worthy to go to the fertile North-Eastern heavenly Field of Reeds.
Earthquakes were thought to be his laughter and it was he who supplied the minerals and precious stones found in the earth, as a god of mines and caves. The sign used in his name became associated with vegetation and the lush farming land by the Nile. It was said that barley grew on his ribs and he was depicted with green patches of vegetation all over his body. Often though to be the father of snakes.
According to another creation myth, Geb and Nut (the night sky) angered the sun god Ra, their grandfather, because they were locked in a perpetual embrace. They remained so close together that no life could live on the earth, for Geb and Nut allowed no space to come between earth and sky lest they be separated even a little. On the orders of Ra, they were separated by Shu, their father, who blew a mighty wind and forced the two of them apart, creating a barrier of air between earth and sky so that life could be created on it. Geb and Nut were separated and never allowed to touch one another again, able only to see one another from their respective domains for eternity. However, Nut was soon found to be pregnant and gave birth to Osiris, Horus the Elder, Set, Isis and Nephthys.
(In some accounts) Filled with bitterness, Geb went to take Shu’s as Pharaoh, but when he reached out to the cobra (ureas) on the crown of Re, it read his guilt and killed all of his companions and severely wounded him. It was only by the application of a lock of Ra´s hair that Geb was saved. Despite his heinous crime, Geb went on to be a good king who protected the land and its people, and was in fact so admired as a ruler that the Egyptian throne was known by the epithet, "Seat of Geb.”
Used biker terminology:
Charter/Chapter: A large MC, or Motorcycle club.
Colors: A unique club patch (or patches) that are worn on the rider's vest. Colors are meant to be ‘flown’ (worn while riding a motorcycle).
Nomad: Elite members of a motorcycle club that are voted in to the privilege of not being tied to any one chapter, therefore, relieved of daily mundane chapter responsibilities and paying chapter dues. They can attend meetings of any chapter that is convenient. They can also perform duties of an Enforcer and other privilaged duties
MC: Acronym for Motorcycle Club

Kiyohime is a story about a fatal attraction between a priest and a woman. The story begins when a traveling priest stops by an inn that is owned by Kiyohime’s parents. Soon after the priest and Kiyohime engage in a torrid affair. One day the priest has a change of heart and decides not to meet Kiyohime anymore. Kiyohime becomes enraged by the priest’s betrayal and follows him to the river. When Kiyohime realizes that the priest is avoiding her, she jumps into the water and turns into a snake. The priest reaches land by a small boat and runs to the temple. He hides inside a bell to avoid Kiyohime. However, Kiyohime’s sense of smell is able to detect the priest inside the bell. She clangs the bell several times to push the priest out of the bell. When the priest doesn’t come out, she lets out a great torrent of fire that burns the bell and kills the priest.
This is how I imagine this story. ^^
I hope you like it!
